Save big on the 42mm model, which is still an excellent smartwatch
If you’re in the market for a top-tier Apple Watch but don’t want to pay the launch-day prices for the brand-new Series 11, a fantastic deal has just landed on Amazon.
The 42mm, aluminum edition of the Apple Watch Series 10 in rose gold is currently available for just $329, representing a $70 savings on its original list price.
For a watch that’s only just turned a year old, this is an excellent opportunity to get a premium smartwatch for less, especially as it’s set to receive the most important new software features anyway.
The Apple Watch Series 10 was a significant update in its own right, introducing a major design refresh.
As we noted in our full Apple Watch Series 10 review from last September, it was the generation that saw a 30% increase in screen size (introducing the 42mm and 46mm case sizes) while also becoming 10% thinner, making it both more usable and more comfortable on the wrist.
We found that the larger, brighter, edge-to-edge display made the watch much easier to use for day-to-day tasks, such as reading text and interacting with apps, and it remains a beautiful and modern-looking device.
A powerful health tracker that keeps getting smarter
The Series 10 is also a formidable health-tracking companion. It was the model that debuted the important sleep apnea detection feature, which monitors for breathing disturbances overnight.
It also features a temperature sensor for advanced cycle tracking, the Vitals app for at-a-glance health metrics, and a heart rate sensor that we found to be admirably accurate, on par with a chest strap for most workouts.

Crucially, with the watchOS 26 update now rolling out, the Series 10 is also gaining the headline features of the brand-new Series 11. This includes the groundbreaking hypertension notifications and the new native Sleep Score, meaning you’ll get the most important new software experiences without having to invest in the latest hardware.
The main trade-off here is the battery life. One of the most significant hardware upgrades on the Series 11 is its improved 24-hour battery estimate. The Series 10, as we noted in our review, is still a device that requires daily charging.
However, at this heavily discounted price, that’s a compromise that’s much easier to swallow. For just $329, you’re getting a premium design and a robust health tracker that continues to receive the latest software.
It’s superb value, especially for anyone upgrading from an Apple Watch Series 8 or older.
