If you’re looking for a low-cost entry point into the world of smartwatches, a new deal on the CMF by Nothing Watch Pro 2 has brought the price down to just $69, a 13% discount on its list price.
While it’s true that a newer generation of the watch—the CMF Watch Pro 3—was released this summer, this 2024 edition remains a fantastic and stylish option. It’s the ideal consideration for those buying their first smartwatch.
The main reason the Watch Pro 2 is such a compelling choice is its design.
As we noted in our full review, it has a wonderfully unique style and a surprisingly premium feel that punches well above its price tag. It schools the bland, identikit smartwatches that typically occupy this end of the market.
The circular aluminum body, vibrant 1.32-inch AMOLED display, and fun, personality-filled software make it feel like a much more expensive device than it is.
Why we still recommend the CMF Watch 2 Pro
In our testing, we found its core tracking to be largely accurate. The heart rate sensor proved reliable during workouts, and its GPS, although sometimes slow to lock on, was surprisingly precise in comparison to the data from a much pricier Garmin watch.
You won’t get in-depth health insights, such as a sleep score or advanced training metrics, and it lacks high-end features like contactless payments. However, all the basics are well-covered.
With a solid 4-5 days of battery life, even with heavy use, the Watch Pro 2 is a stylish and reliable device that offers incredible value for just $69—particularly for those just getting started with wrist-based tracking.
