Save $62 on the 2025 flagship Wear OS smartwatch
In a surprise early discount, Amazon has dropped the price of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (44mm) to just $339—its lowest price yet.
That’s a solid 11% ($41) saving on its $379.99 list price, which is a fantastic deal given the smartwatch only launched this summer.
This is a rare opportunity to grab Samsung’s latest flagship at a significant discount, well before the expected Black Friday sale next month.
The Galaxy Watch 8 represented a major step up for Samsung’s lineup, introducing a new design and some much-needed software improvements.
Why this Galaxy Watch 8 deal is worth it
In our full Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 review, we were hugely impressed with the new cushion case design. It’s a very convincing makeover for the base 2025 edition that gives it a much-needed dose of personality compared to previous generations.
The other massive improvement is on the software side; it runs the latest Wear OS 6 (with One UI 8) and is one of the first devices to feature the new Google Gemini assistant, which we found to be a huge upgrade over Google Assistant.
However, even at this great price, there are a couple of key compromises to be aware of.
As we noted in our testing, the battery life remains the main weakness, with the watch struggling to last more than 1 to 1.5 days on a full charge with regular use. Samsung also continues to lock its headline health features—like ECG and blood pressure monitoring—exclusively to its own Galaxy smartphones.
That said, if you’re a Samsung phone owner, this is a no-brainer. For other Android users who can live with the daily charging routine, getting a 2025 flagship with this design and the power of Gemini for under $340 is a fantastic bargain.
